Other Cool Stuff G3CFO Does

The Swiss Army Knife of CFOs

A G3CFO Proven Framework for Every Obstacle

Projects That Help You Win

Perhaps you’ve noticed a theme in the G3CFO content–many frameworks, tools, and constructs that simply work.

G3CFO applies the same ingenuity with its Financial Operating System™ to other problems or opportunities you might be facing.

Acquisitions

From negotiating a purchase price to quarterbacking due diligence to shepherding the transition.

Turnarounds

I could be crass and say that 75% of my work is turnaround work. This work is designed for bankers.

Complex Financing

Ask any client that I’ve served, and you’ll hear them talk about the ease of getting new loans. I have an X-factor.

Executive Searches

By far the hardest work I’ve ever tried. But I’m good at filtering out a good CFO from a really bad one.

Marketing Strategy

As a former journalist, I find it hard not to find the 1-2 marketing strategies that will generate more revenue in your biz.

Pipeline Management

I’ve taught, trained, and mentored sales staff. I’ve also recreated new systems and processes for sales teams.

WE HAVE Answers

Ask Anything

If your business is generating $3 million in revenues or less, you can get by with a really good office manager who is humble and willing to listen and learn new skills. Once you start getting bigger, you to bring on a degreed accountant with 5-7 years of experience with a desire to be constantly learning.

There are two sides to the coin with marketing–magic and logic. I’m the logic guy and have helped many firms address some serious marketing strategy issues. Marketing tactics? I don’t do that. Sales management is nothing more than being good at process management. You’ll love the playbooks I’ve created from scratch.

Good one. Try again.

It depends. I have some clients paying me $975 per month and some that have paid around $10,000 per month. It just depends on the need. The better question to ask is about my billing. I do it on a subscription basis.

I’ve been doing this work since 2001, and I finished my first consulting project in 1993. As I get older, I find myself being a bit pickier. However, I’m a lifelong learner, and if your project is new and unique, you’ll have the advantage of selling yourself to me.

Again, it depends. We will have 3-4 conversations before we get started. I take the onboarding process very seriously, so we’ll get the timing down really well.

There are several industries where I lack knowledge. If so, I’ll let you know.

There have been several industry segments where the client hit a home run because I looked at his business from an outsider’s perspective. I was asking questions the client had never heard before.

Don’t worry. If I sense I’m not a good fit, I’ll convey that to you. But still realize that the Financial Operating System™ works in any industry of any size.

Some of my client projects have lasted 3 months. Some have been going on for 20 years. I only stick around as long as I add value.
