Let's Forecast These Financial Statements

I’ve been serving and mentoring CEOs for more than 30 years, and one concept they occasionally trip over is the three types of financial forecasts or projections. Level 1 is the most detailed, and level three is the lowest level of detail. Each level serves a distinct purpose and answers the question, “What is the job to be done?”

In this forecast, we’re looking at Level 3, which is generally my starting point in evaluating the CEO’s business model. This is a skill that every CEO should master.
