Several years ago, I was watching a financial huddle online. During the Q&A session, an employee asked the founder when we would know we’ve arrived.
I braced myself for hearing a bad or wrong answer. Instead, no answer was given. There was some chat from the group about revenue and profits, but that was it. The answer was never addressed head-on.
I’m 99% certain I have the nearly-perfect answer to the question, “When will we know our company has arrived?” I’m even going to get help from a former business owner and President who grew his company’s sales from $12 million to $1 billion over a 17-year sprint.
